Marinana Andrade e Barros is one of the founders of the Russia-Latin America Observatory (Ruslat). She holds a joint PhD in Public International Law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and in International Relations from PUC Minas. She earned her Master in International Law from PUC Minas, and holds undergraduate degrees in International Relations from PUC Minas and in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). She is a Professor in International Relations at PUC Minas and teaches Law and International Relations at the Centro Universitário Una and UNI-BH. Her research focuses on international order, democracy, international organizations with an emphasis on Latin America, and paradiplomacy.
